Herbert Diamant
President and Senior Portfolio Manager

Herb has over 45 years of investing experience in the stock and bond markets. As the second-generation leader of the firm that he and his father established, Herb continues to employ their proven conservative buy and hold strategy, dedicated to building long-term wealth for clients.
Herb graduated from Georgetown University with dual majors in finance and marketing, and a minor in economics. He cultivated a deep knowledge of the securities business and brokerage operations working as a General Securities Principal, a Financial and Operations Principal, a Securities Trader for NYSE and NASDAQ stocks, and a Municipal Securities Principal. He maintains a Series 65 license to operate as a Registered Investment Advisor.
Believing in building lifelong client relationships based on honesty and integrity, Herb enjoys a hands-on approach to managing each client's personalized investment portfolio. His attentive style and deep understanding of each client's situation sets him apart from other portfolio managers.
Away from the office, Herb is active in the community. He enjoys woodworking and designing furniture and cabinetry. As an avid outdoorsman, he loves sailing, kayaking, and swimming.
Sheila Morgan, AAMS®

Sheila holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist, AAMS® designation from the College of Financial Planning and a Series 66 license. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science and a minor in history. Sheila completed the Investment Management Certification Analyst program at Yale School of Management.
Sheila joined Diamant Asset Management in October 2020 as a Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining the firm, Sheila gained experience at Charles Schwab in West Hartford, Connecticut, as a Financial Consultant Partner. She was an Analyst for U.S. Trust on the Global Wealth Management Team and worked at Northern Trust as a Performance Analyst. Sheila began her career working at Ernst & Young LLP.
With more than 15 years of experience as an Investment Professional, her commitment to education and empowerment aligns perfectly with Diamant Asset Management's philosophy that smart investing is based on sound research and analysis. Her clients appreciate her solid listening skills, commitment to client education, and attention to client care and service as she creates and manages their unique, customized, financial management plan.
In her free time, Sheila enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, going for walks, and reading nonfiction books along with a great glass of wine.
Jeff Speight

Jeff has over 27 years of experience in the financial markets, working with institutional investors and ultra-high-net-worth clients. His deep expertise spans portfolio management, investment research, and client advisory, all grounded in a disciplined approach to building and preserving wealth over the long term. With a passion foruncovering opportunities across markets, new investment ideas come naturally to him.
He earned a master’s degree in economics from Brown University and completed dual undergraduate degrees in Economics and Anthropology at James Madison University. Throughout his career, Jeff has combined analytical rigor with a broad perspective on markets and client needs, providing thoughtful, tailored investment solutions.
As a portfolio manager, Jeff brings his institutional experience to Diamant’s high-net-worth clients, developing strong, lasting relationships and delivering the high level of service and insight that has defined his career.
Outside of the office, Jeff is a published author and an avid fly fisherman. Above all, he understands the importance of family values, spending his free time with his three terrific sons and his mischievous dogs.
